Architect Tech Lead

What we're looking for:
ZocDoc is seeking a technical lead who wants to manage our core team with serious CS skills, building technology that really helps people. You enjoy a good conversation about theory or architecture, but you are happiest helping your team members grow and defining the direction of your team. You have the technical skills and experience necessary to help your team members with tough technical challenges and you're not afraid to dive in and write code with the rest of the team. Successful candidates will have a superb technical background and a credible track record in the software engineering space, be passionate about their work, detail oriented and have excellent problem solving abilities.

We want someone who:

• - Can lead a team of engineers in design, development, test, and deployment of core services
• - Responsibilities include - day to day lead of the core engineering team. Coordinate interaction with other application teams. Coordinate activity with cross functional teams responsible for delivering new features and products.
• - Has an established background in building and managing reliable software in a service-oriented environment, have such software operate at high-scale and reliability with high SLA’s, have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
• - is passionate about simple and elegant software solutions, customer-centric products, and utilizing agile development processes. You are results-oriented, customer-focused software development manager who gets excited about starting from scratch, running hard, and solving tough technical and operational challenges. You will lead a team of smart software development engineers.
• - will work with senior management, engineering principals, and the product team to help shape the business requirements, bring high quality customer experience to market by owning the development of & operating business critical software services.
