Business Development Director

New York, NY

The Business Development Director is the face of ZocDoc for Business, our new offering for employers. Selling ZocDoc for Business to our employer clients involves being a ZocDoc evangelist and employing a diagnostic sales approach to help employers keep their employees healthy and productive. You will work closely with our product, development and account management teams to help our clients be successful.

What you’ll do:

  • - Drive revenue with new employer clients
  • - Originate and maintain a steady pipeline of employer prospects
  • - Manage relationships with HR and benefits executives at employer organizations and their respective brokers and consultants
  • - Work in a highly collaborative team environment

What is required:

  • - 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales or new business development
  • - Significant experience selling in the health & wellness benefits marketplace, or are a very quick study in the dynamics of this rapidly changing industry
  • - Proven track record of bringing in new business in either an enterprise sales or business development role
  • - A get your hands dirty, scrappy, high energy, hard-working attitude
  • - The ability to travel from our New York office up to 30%
