Dr. Azar Boujaran-Ghomi DDS

I was excited about the great reviews I read on ZocDoc about Dr. Boujaran-Ghomi, however; my dental experience hasn't been the best. Yes, it is a professional office with up-to-date equipment, and does have a spa-type of feel, but I felt as though Dr. Boujaran-Ghomi wasn't welcoming at all. She never talked to me about my oral health and has only examined my teeth once since ive been going to her, which is like a 1000 times this year (why can't things be done all in 1-2 days?). First impression is everything and if I dont have any kind of relationship with you how can I trust you with my teeth? The receptionist and the dental hygentist and the other ladies collectively have only talked to me about my oral health. When I was having one of my procedures done, another dentist and and his assitant TALKED AMOUNGST THEMSELVES THE ENTIRE TIME about family and tradition and spouses, all while I am laying there with random dental tools in my mouth with saliva running out of it. How Unprofessional. Shouldn't you be telling me what you're doing and asking me if Im ok rather than having a casual conversation with someone you see on a weekly basis? Seriously. Secondly, what bothered me the most is that I was never fully explained my procedures/costs until it was too late. I asked the receptionist several times what was being done and/or costs and all I kept getting as a response was "everything is fine dont worry about it" (huh?) So now I feel as though Ive been cheated and scammed into something I wasnt sure about. My review strictly is from a business end, nothing personal. Very disappointed

First time I had a pleasant, relaxed dental visit. The entire staff was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. The dentist explained her practice thoroughly and my results thoroughly. 100% positive experience, highly recommend this practice if you are seeking a dentist.

Dr. Boujaran was great. She is all about preventative care and saving her patients money. She took the time to explain everything and I never felt rushed. It doesn't hurt that the office feels like a 5 star spa! I would highly recommend her to any patient no matter where you live. If you live far, it is certainly worth the commute!

The experience seeing Dr. Boujaran was more like going to the spa than the dentist! The office is beautifully designed, and has the most up to date equipment. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The X-ray technician was very quick. Dr. Boujaran greeted me and explained how she operates her practice. She has a holistic approach to dental care. She has peaceful spirit and takes plenty of time with you to discuss her concerns about your oral care. The hygenist that cleaned my teeth was also very professional. There was little to no pain, and she also took plenty of time to speak with me about oral health and care. My teeth felt awesome at the end of the treatment and she cleaned my face with a hot lavender towel. BEST DENTIST VISIT EVER!

Everyone in the office is so sweet and so helpful! The office itself is comfortable yet very up-to-date.

I love this office they are always very friendly and make my daughters feel comfortable ... I have taken my 3 yo to other offices and they would give up trying to work on her because she was fussy or crying ... At this office the doctor calms her down and gets the job done

Attentive, professional and friendly. Clean facility. I felt at times like the Doctor wanted to continue working on my teeth even if there wasn't any urgent need to.

I made a last minute appointment because I had a sudden wisdom tooth issue. Dr. Azar Boujaran-Ghomi and her entire staff were warm, welcoming and very sympathetic. I was at ease the entire time I was there.

Very professional and courteous. Explained everything out and took the time to make sure i was comfortable. The attention to detail was very good. They took photos of every tooth and x-rays. She seems to actually care

Best Dental office and staff in Tribeca. Friendly, courteous and professional staff that go the extra mile to make the patient feel stress-free and comfortable. The pulled my son's front tooth with the kind of care you could only hope for your child! The office is immaculate and the machinery is cutting edge. I highly recommend Dr.Azar Boujaran-Ghomi.

The visit was fine, I was a bit unhappy with the time I had to wait for the oral surgeon to see me. The entire staff was friendly and I would say the overall visit was a 41/2 out of 5.
