Dr. Frantz Backer DDS

Dr. Backer's staff isn't very helpful. I was never told how long I would have to wait, or what would happen next. People were nice enough, so it wasn't awful, just not 5-star service. Dr. Backer doesn't have a panoramic x-ray machine, so a member of his staff had to take what seemed like 20 individual x-rays to get a full picture. This wasn't a very pleasant experience, again, because I was never told how many x-rays would be taken, and nobody explained what was going on. However, Dr. Backer himself was great. He personally cleaned my teeth (which is unusual in my experience with other dentists) and then gave me a thorough consultation. I haven't seen a dentist in a long time, and was expecting a reprimand, but he was quite nice and encouraging. I've been postponing a wisdom tooth extraction for about 4 years, and he simply laid out the facts for me and referred me to a doctor who would be able to handle my procedure.

Seems intelligent and knowledgeable, has friendly staff. However he was dismissive of one of my issues and had a bumbling manner, which I found disconcerting. Will go back though and give him another shot.

Very comfortable and practically no pain during cleaning.

I never wait long and I get in and out pretty quickly. He is very nice and professional, and I love that he is open on Sundays.

The staff was very pleasant and accomodating,but the wait was too long. I enjoyed my visit however, the staff and Doctor made me comfortable.

I had a 9am appointment, he showed up at the office at 9:02, which is fine. His nurse rushed me to take Xrays, I think she just wants to raise $$ for the office. (it didn't cost me, but maybe unnecessary?). Otherwise, he was mostly knowledgeable, and helpful. And nice.

He did a really thorough job and it wasn't painful at all. I will definitely be back.

Dr. Backer and his assistants were amazing. Just got back from my appointment and I have another one next week. Can't wait to have some healthy teeth !!!

Interestingly enough this is actually the very first time that I met a dentist that met all of my expectations. Dr. Backer was thorough with my examinations and I did not feel rushed at all.The location speaks for itself and is in a good neighborhood. The office is clean, comfortable and offers privacy. The receptionist as well as the rest of the staff were nice and professional. I will continue to receive dental care there without any hesitations.

My son, Elijah met with Dr. Backer and stated that he liked this dentist (despite getting a filling). We saw him right away without any wait. He was very gentle with my son knowing that he may be afraid of needles. As a parent this is very important because I want my son to feel comfortable (which e completely did). My son will continue to see Dr. Backer because of his competency, nice office, and a well mannered staff.

Dr. Backer and his staff are amaziinggg. Today was my first visit and I most definitely will go back to them. Dr. Backer is very courteous and makes you feel comfortable from the first moment he walks in. He is also very professional and knowledgable since he did a great job with my teeth. The staff is also very friendly and works efficiently. They are reaaally great!

I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and he took the time to explain everything that he was doing or going to do. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and the utilities are clean! I would definitely recommend Dr. Backer.

Very thorough and was willing to answer lots of questions. Office staff also very friendly.

I was very happy with my consultation with Dr. Backer. Based on the opinion of another Dentist, I was afraid that I would need a very expensive implant, but Dr, Backer took several x-rays and photos of the tooth and determined that it was still healthy and most likely would only need a less expensive root canal and crown. This service was offered for free.

He was very patient and listened intently to my concerns. He also made me feel comfortable being in a dentist's chair again. The staff in general was very courteous and friendly. They explained procedures before performing them. I had a great experience and look forward to making my follow - up appointments. I have already started to recommend him to fammily members.

Dr. Backer came at a high recommendation to me from my boyfriend, and once in his care I could understand why! The doctor, hygienist, and receptionist were all very pleasant and made my first time at the dentist in about a decade a far less scary experience.

Dr. Backer and his staff are fabulous! I have recommend him many times to friends and family.

He was polite. He explained everything that was wrong with my mouth and that needed to be done. His assistants are very nice. This was great experience

Dr. Backer went beyond the extra mile to address my crisis by seeing me without notice and after normal office hours.

I made an on line appointment for the same day, received treatment beyond my expectations. Great support staff too.

Dr Backer and the whole staff were WONDERFUL! Everything was explained and they made sure I was 100% knowing of what was going on. Great place!

Very money hungry and pushed procedures i could not afford and told him i could not andsuggested procedures where as.more simpler surgeries would graver sufficed
