Since 1986, Dr. Harry Z. Hoffer has been committed to providing exceptional dental care to patients in the Smithtown community. His expertise in dentistry, coupled with a genuine concern for patients, consistently delivers dental care that exceeds expectations. Hoffer Dental Care strives to develop lifelong relationships with our patients by combining the latest dental technology with a professional, compassionate staff.

Dr. Hoffer is committed to exceptional health and dental care. For over 25 years, Dr. Hoffer has maintained a quality private practice in Smithtown. He is a gentle, caring dentist who uses the most advanced materials and procedures available. He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on dental implants, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Hoffer is a careful listener and will explain beforehand what treatment is best for your individual needs.

Dr. Hoffer has been happily married for over 30 years to Sheila, a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist. Their three children, Andrew, Erica and Melanie, are also involved in the health care field. As a triathlete, Dr. Hoffer strongly believes in good health, nutrition and fitness. He focuses on “Holistic Dentistry” – incorporating health and nutrition as an adjunct to treatment. He helps his patients achieve dental wellness; and in turn, long lasting health.
