Professional Statement:

After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Adolescent Psychology from Duke University, Dr. Julissa Demorizi earned her doctorate degree from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. Upon completion of her doctorate, she completed her orthodontic specialty training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is an Invisalign orthodontic specialist. She has completed Part II certification for the American Board of Orthodontics. A recipient of numerous academic accolades, she was the Chief Coordinator of the craniofacial team and a member of the orthognathic team at Montefiore Hospital. She has volunteered in Operation Smile in Vietnam. Dr. Demorizi is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. She enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with her family.
