Went in for a cleaning. She insisted I needed another appointment for a deep cleaning, because the cleaning was "too painful for me". I told her I wasn't in any pain and that she could continue. She said she was short on time, obviously the real reason, and that I would have to come back. The office seemed like it could use a deep cleaning as well. She also noted that I "clearly liked my greens" during the exam, which made me embarrassed and seemed really unprofessional. You look in people's mouths all day. Do you do this to everyone? Will never let this woman put another dental tool in my mouth.

Dr. Appolon is by far the BEST dentist I have ever been to! She's extremely nice and her bedside manner is really great. I sometimes have a tough time at the dentist and she was incredibly patient and understanding with me. I would highly recommend her for your next dentist appt!

Karthilde was AWESOME. Unfortunately, I was running 15 mins late (8a visit) but when I arrived, she HAPPILY greeted me at the door and started my appointment. She was really thorough with the exam and explained to me what she noticed. I appreciate doctors that inform the patients without you having to ask. The teeth cleaning wasn't a challenge for me either as I'm not a fan of the paste dentists typically use. She scheduled my next appt at the end of my cleaning and I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit with her in a week.

Sweet and gentle. First dentist out of three that I have seen this year to figure out why I was feeling pain in one of my teeth (turns out I cracked the enamel). The other dentists had also approved me for invisalign, and she was the first to recommend that I skip it since my root on one tooth is too short which could cause problems later. So far, I am very satisfied.

Dr. Appolon is amazing! I was nervous to go to the dentist having not seen one for over a year, but Dr. Appolon put me at ease right away. I was surprised to see that Dr. Appolon did the teeth cleaning herself instead of an hygenist. Her cleaning was gentle and thorough and she took pictures of my mouth (not just x-rays) and transferred them directly to the computer via usb and explained what she saw. It was a pretty neat process. I'd highly recommend Dr. Karthilde Appolon!

Appointment was fine- she only does white filings which was interesting and my fillings had to be redone - as I reacted poorly to the coating she put on the enamel before the cavity was filled... and her staff call too often to schedule a follow-up appointment.

The Haitian Sensation does it again! Best dentist in NY! Friendly, relaxed, keeps late hours, just great. So gentle that I actually fell asleep during my cleaning, which was as thorough as Ive ever had in 30 years. Book her asap! Ditch your current dentist!

Dr. Appolon is a very good dentist and caring too. I know my teeth need dental work. But I kept delaying to see a dentist because of the past unpleasant experience with some dentists in NYC and their "surprising" charges in the bill mailed to me afterwards. It's all changed after I visited Dr. Appolon who treated my sensitive teeth with extra care and communicated fees to be charged in advance with no confusion. Her office is clean and cozy. Shortly after I arrived, I was lead to the dental chair. Right away Dr. Appolon was there and everything was ready. During the entire treatment session, she proceeded with extreme care to handle my many sensitive teeth. I felt relaxed by her calming voice and even those drills were less scary. She didn't rush just to get the work done. Instead she took pauses to make sure everything was ok and I was feeling comfortable. I know from now on my teeth are in the capable hands of a caring dentist - Dr. Appolon.
