Best dentist appointment I've had in a long time. Her office is clean, soothing and spa-like. I did not have to wait, and her staff was excellent. Dr. Nematollahi was delightful as well and very knowledgable. The massage chair was a bonus as well!

I was a first-time patient and so it took a couple of minutes to be seen because I was filling out their electronic forms. It was really easy to use the forms, with just a few clicks, and request for info and that was about it. This does away with re-writing all of my information on several different forms. If I didn't have the forms to fill out, they would have seen me right away. The ambiance was peaceful, almost spa-like. I had a massage while in the chair. I had not been to the dentist in 5 years and they had reassured me that I would be ok, but needed to come in every 6 months. They did a financial/insurance check for all of the procedures they had performed to ensure that I understand what was my responsibility vs. the ins. company's. Friendly staff and Dr. Kate was just as friendly. Great staff and ambiance.

Honestly, my appointment with Dr. Nematollahi was the best dentist appointment I have ever had, hands down. All of the staff were courteous and friendly, the waiting room was calming and spa-like, the office was super clean and outfitted with the latest technology, check in was fast and efficient (you use a computer rather than a clipboard to fill out paperwork) and the Dr. herself was excellent. I hadn't seen a dentist in 6 years and yet she didn't give me the usual dentist lecture/guilt trip I was expecting. If I wasn't moving out of the area I would certainly go back again and will recommend Dr. Nematollahi to all of my friends in the D.C. area.

This dentist was simply the best dentist, I have ever seen. She is very thorough and has an "excellent" bedside manner. The staff was excellent as well. The whole office just had nice gentle "karma" to it.

I chose Kate due to her research, teaching and practice time at University of Michigan after receiving her degree at Univ. of Maryland. Office environment is calming, her staff are well prepared and helpful, and she and her hygienist were thorough and explained everything comprehensively. Will recommend her to those looking for a well-trained, thorough dentist with a great chair-side manner.

I switched dentists after my old dentist stopped accepting my insurance, and I couldn't have found a better one. I jsut came in for a dental cleaning, and everyone was super-friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Dr. Kate Nematollahi's office!
