Dr. Ludmila Tchakarova is originally from Bulgaria, graduated at the High Medical Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria and obtained her Dental Degree in 1993.
Dr. Tchakarova earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery ( DDS) degree after completion of three years Advanced Standing Program at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Ludmila Tchakarova has been in private dental practice in Bulgaria and United States and acquired great experience working with multicultural patients. She joined Dr. Gaitan's dental practice in 1998.
Dr. Tchakarova is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is fluent in English, Bulgarian and Russian.

As a new patient, I was very pleased with the entire experience. Dr Tchakarova is much more thorough than my previous dentist and she actually performed my cleaning herself, which was a nice change from the norm, where the dr pokes his/her head in at the end to check a tech's work.
