Dr. Maritza Villamar-Lozano DDS

Courteous and professional. I went in for a routine cleaning. Had a painless experience. Will definitely go back in 6 months.

What I absolutely loved about my visit was the way Dr. Maritza Villamar-Lozano walked me through every step of the process. She had a camera that took photos of my teeth and after she was done cleaning and inspecting, we went through each photo and she showed me what needed work, etc. It was a really great experience and I loved being involved in the process. She showed my a cavity, which of course stinks, but it's better than some dentists who tell you that you have a cavity just for the sake of getting a little extra money. I love that I can trust this dentist and understand every part of the procedure.

It's a relaxed professional environment which is exactly what I was looking for. You're kept informed about what they are doing and most importantly, you don't feel like they're just making up work that needs doing which I've encountered at many other NY dentists. I would be happy to recommend this surgery to friends.

Very efficient, and a good dentist

All of the staff was extremely friendly and timely. I got there early to fill out some paperwork as a new patient, and it only took a few minutes to fill out, and they were ready for me right on time. The hygienist was very careful, and the whole experience was very pleasant. I'll be going back.

Friendly, communicative staff. All patients appreciate when a doctor clues them in on what they are doing, especially at the dentist. Dr. Villamar-Lozano was great at this.

Dr. Villamar is the best dentist I've never seen. I've had to have a lot of dental work, due to TMJ, and she's been fantastically professional and thorough for all of it. She talks to me about all the options I have, and makes sure I'm comfortable with what she's doing. Also, I'm a giant baby about needles & pain, and she's always wonderful about giving me enough novacaine and helping me through getting the injections using breathing exercises. I will go to her until she retires.

Best dentist ever! When my wisdom tooth acted up, she saw me the same morning and extracted it completely painlessly. Dr. Villamar-Lozano is friendly, caring, and expert at what she does.

Contacted me in advance for insurance info to ensure being treated ASAP. It worked! Excellent staff (kudos to Katia, Dental Hygienist, she was super gentle, accurate, and did a great job). Highly recommended.

Dr. Villamar-Lozano was exceptional. As soon as I walked in the office I was in a chair getting my teeth cleaned. Her staff is very professional and helpful; It was a great experience all around.

Maritza and her colleagues have unbelievably professional bedside manner and really know how to make a patient feel cared for and under control. Her practice came highly recommended by a colleague of mine, and so far all of his praises have proven true- especially since I hadn't seen a dentist in quite some time. I also appreciated how much time she spent explaining processes to me, and not immediately going for the big cost procedures right away- instead, she established a long-term plan to improve my gum and dental health. 5 stars!!!

State of the art technology, very quick service, very professional, very friendly and she even uses email to stay in touch! She's also very reasonable and willing to work with you when it comes to cost.

Maybe this is because my last dentist was in small-town Ohio, but I was really impressed with the technology she used: teeny camera on a wand to take digital pictures of my teeth! She showed me everything she was seeing, and explained to me what it meant, and gave me practical advice on what to do about it. Definitely my most informative appointment ever! If you want to feel proactive in terms of your mouth care, this should be your dentist! Bonus: she used numbing gel on my gums before going after them with that pokey-hook device!

I was seen and treated very quickly and efficiently for pain I was having despite being a new patient. She's very sweet and definitely knows what she's doing.
