I hate the dentist, but everyone in the office was very kind and made me very comfortable. I got what I needed to get done (x-rays) and referrals to dental surgeons in about half an hour, including the time it took to get my paperwork filled out. I would definitely recommend them.

Dr DiPaula's knowledge and skills really came into play for me today as I had an issue that wasn't 100% clear and his diagnosis, solution and plan worked out terrific as my issue feels so much better now. Very grateful I also was able to be seen on the same day I called.

Dr. Michael DiPaula is a native of Maryland and graduated from Mt St Joseph High School in Baltimore in 1963. He completed a three year accelerated Bachelor of Science program at the University of Maryland in College Park before completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1970. From 1970 to 1972, Dr. DiPaula was in active duty with the US Navy and spent ten years after that in the Navy Reserve.
After his first duty station at Camp Pendleton, and training in General Anesthesia at the Newport Naval Hospital, Dr. DiPaula was deployed for independent duty with a Naval Mobile Construction Battalion on the Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean as their solo dentist, anesthetist in the OR, and Diving Officer in charge of all underwater construction.
Dr. DiPaula started his family practice in 1972. Since then, he has developed a passion for practicing and teaching minimally invasive dentistry. He taught a nutritional periodontal course through the Maryland Dental Association. He was a past member of the international Association of Dental Research and has completed Master of Laser Dentistry course and is a Trudenta certified head and neck pain management practitioner.
Dr. DiPaula and his wife, Nancy, have two children, Anthony and Lisa. They have been involved in horse training and breeding farms since 1974, and have been kept busy with cattle, horses, dogs, and people coming and going throughout the years.

No one really likes going to the dentist. However, Dr. DiPaula makes you feel very comfortable and he’s very detailed. He also doesn’t try to sell you on any extra/unnecessary services. And if you have any concerns, he’s more than happy to go over it with you without any rush. Overall a great experience!

I could not imagine any other dentist taking care of my teeth. Through the years he has saved my teeth from neglect due to illness, and with his extreme knowledge and wisdom has educated me not only for the care of my teeth, but the importance of how it all comes into play. Going to the dentist has always been a highly stressful event for me. Dr. DiPaula and his staff were very calm, caring, and patient with me. He was honest about the plan that I needed, and he even made sure to document everything on paper and film for my insurance. The office feels cozy, like someone's home, which is more appealing to me than a large, hospital style practice. I did not feel as though I was on an assembly line, as I have felt in other offices. I recommend him and his staff to anyone who wants a truly personalized treatment plan and great office staff service.

I got great service and he has great prices. He gives options on your treatment so you can choose what is better for you, unlike some other dentists that say "this is what you need in this order and you have no choice in the matter."
He and his staff are very friendly and treat you like a person, not a number. Also he pulled my wisdom tooth and I didn't feel a thing! I never even felt the needle he used to numb me up. It was over before I knew it and it healed very quickly with no problems.

While I never find any dental procedures pleasant, Dr DiPaula and his staff are very good at what they do. I was treated like a person and not just another patient. I felt no pain which is important for me! Dr. DiPaula did an excellent job on my teeth and I couldn't be happier. The prices are wonderful too. I have good insurance but even with insurance, I was quoted much, much higher prices from some other dentists. I couldn't believe how low Dr. DiPaula's prices are!

Dr. DiPaula and his staff are the BEST.They were so friendly and compassionate. I am a new patient for life. I've since referred 3 family members, but they haven't had their visit as of today. The office was VERY clean and organized.
