I cannot praise Dr. Shriver and her staff enough for their kindness, professionalism, and empathy. State of the art office, with a serene, calming atmosphere...I am no spring chicken and have had regular dental visits every 3-6 months, primarily for maintenance during the last half a century, so I am not a novice at the dental office. At this point, due to my lack of regular flossing...yes, now I believe it when they say "FLOSS REGULARLY"!, I am having serious problems, not with my teeth, but with my gums. As a result of my not having listened to this crucial advice, I now have a chronic periodontal condition and rapidly losing bone. Went to Dr. Shriver, she did a deep cleaning and scaling, including injecting antibiotic into the deep pockets, some of which are 8-9 ml deep! I did not have to wait even five minutes, the whole procedure took about an hour, and I swear I did not feel a thing! Dr. Shiriver is so sweet, I just wanted to hug her! Going back for crown work and maintenance? ABSOLUTELY!! I have no medical or dental insurance, and Dr Shriver was more than willing to work with me on payment. I also researched the fees for services, and hers are either comparable to others, or less. Sincerely, if you are looking for a dentist in San Diego, I simply cannot recommend this office enough.

Neni was wonderful. She seemed very knowledgeable and personable. She found a cavity and took at digital picture of it to prove it to me! She took her time to talk through other concerns with me. The other staff members were also fantastic; much better than other places I have been in the past. I will definitely go back.

Dr. Shriver didn't make me feel bad about my lack of dental upkeep, and she went way above and beyond to get information for me from my insurance provider.
