Wow finally a dentist I can trust! Like most people going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do, but Dr. Markel made it as pleasant as it gets. The office is small and very personable; you don’t feel like a number. His staff is very nice and will take the time to check your benefits and let you know any if any cost upfront. The fees for non covered procedures were half what I was quoted at another dentist and probably were done better. Very happy with the choice I made.

Dr. Markel is very knowledgeable and friendly. He has a great bedside manner and explains every procedure he is about to perform. I would recommend him to any patient who is uneasy about a dentist visit.

His office is not the swankiest - it's in a slightly seedy part of town, and while everything is clean and well cared for it still feels a little dingy. That said, I found the doctor himself and all of his support staff very helpful and charming. I went in with a toothache that I thought was due to a bit of food stuck behind a crown, and after a thorough inspection and a quick x-ray of the affected area, it turned out that the crown was not seated properly, and I was actually in need of a root canal - which he proceeded to do on the spot. He was very careful to explain to me exactly what he was doing and why it was necessary - all of which I really appreciated.

Doctor Markel and his assistant were very friendly and professional. They explained things to me in a clear way and did not pressure me at all to undertake any treatments that I didn't really need.

Dr. Markel is a gem of a guy, and is extraordinarily personable and professional at the same time. The office is clean, the support staff are friendly and I was seen on time. I will definitely be recommending him to my friends and co-workers.

At another office I was told I needed a root canal and crown, but Dr. Markel tested my tooth and explained that my tooth has not died yet and a filling can be done. The tooth has not bothered me since and I am very grateful that I didn’t have to grind it down for a crown. Dr. Markel has wonderful bedside manner and is highly skilled. Anna the receptionist was very friendly and helped me understand how my insurance benefits worked. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Markel for your dental needs.

Dr. Markel made me feel very comfortable during the cleaning I received. I like 99% of people hate going to the dentist, but I will be back to see Dr. Markel 100%. Just like he was recommended to me by a friend, I feel obliged and honored to endorse him as well to everyone I know.

Dr. Markel’s office is a gem that I am very happy to have found. Everything was explained form financials to why what filling and crown type is good for my tooth. I am raving about the office to everyone, because a good dentist is hard to come by.

I was coming from another dentist that really did a number on my teeth - some fillings had started to fall out, etc. Dr. Markel was very professional in handling this and everything feels better already. My dental insurance didn't cover everything, and he made a point to let me know how much everything would be before doing the work. Much appreciated.
