I have always been terrified of dentists...so much so that I keep putting my visits off. But, all that has changed 100%. He put me at ease from the beginning as he explained very patiently what he recommended we should do. He was genuinely interested in me as a person and not just a patient. Even his assistant and receptionist gets an ***** from me. I will recommend Doctor Izmailov to anyone that mentions DENTIST! You will do the same. Oh...doctor was right ... It was pain free!

I have been using A&R for years previously saw a doctor who's no longer there Dr. Ismailov became my doc when she left & I wish I had used him from the very beginning & had not waited 5 yrs. to start seeing him!

Dr. Roman Izmailov graduated from dental school in Eastern Europe in 1984. In 1992 Dr. Izmailov moved to New York City and attended the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) where he graduated with his DDS degree amongst the top of his class. After graduation Dr. Izmailov attended his general and implant dentistry residency at Bellvue Hospital in New York City. After graduating from his residency Dr. Izmailov served as a faculty member and clinical director at NYUCD.
Dr. Izmailov has worked at Refuah Medical Center in Rockland County New York at their outreach program and was the dental director at the Monsey Medical Center also in Rockland County in both cases serving patients in need. Dr. Izmailov was chosen as Top Dentist by Hudson Valley Magazine in 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012.
Dr. Izmailov continues to expand his skills and dental knowledge by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education in all phases of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery & more. He is active in other professional societies, including the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry & Rockland County Implant Study Club.
Dr. Izmailov has lived in Rockland County for 20 years and is an active member of his community, has three children of which two are now doctors. Dr. Izmailov enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, traveling, and reading.
