Dr. Sarin was very pleasant. He fully explained everything that was going on and had a wonderful bedside manner. He was there throughout the cleaning process- something I have not seen at the dentist before. I have already recommended him to several colleagues that are near the office.

Although this was my first visit. I'm confident that Dr. Sarin and his Assistant Shirley will be perfect for my Dental Needs. They answered all of my questions and made me feel very confident that i will receive the best dental care possible.

Dr. Sarin's efficient work is balanced by a friendly personality and sense of humor. It was clear that the comfort of patients like me is one of his biggest priorities. My cleaning was thorough, and took only 35-40 minutes including Xrays. The staff at his office are also friendly. I was not used to laughing gas during cleanings-I declined at first but Dr. Sarin made a good case for using it. It did eliminate the pain that can accompany my normal cleanings, although it was harder to stay focused and open wide. It will not dissuade me from returning to Dr. Sarin for future cleanings and dental work. I look forward to my next visit (as much as anyone looks forward to a visit to the dentist)

Doctor was great, secretary extremely rude. She wanted me to come in early for my appointment (which i couldn't) and was screaming at me for not getting back to her right away. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Sarin took my wisdom teeth out last week, and it was a really positive experience. When I got my bottom teeth out, my mouth was swollen for five days and I couldn't eat normally for more than a week. By contrast, I had no swelling after Dr. Sarin took my top wisdom teeth out. I didn't need any painkillers after the first 24 hours, and I was able to eat almost anything after the first two days. Dr. Sarin promised I wouldn't feel any pain during the procedure itself, and I didn't. I also went to him for my cleaning, which was quick and thorough. I'll definitely be back and recommend him to friends and coworkers.

He is the coolest dentist, I have ever met in my life. I go when I don't even need a checkup, just to hang out with the guy. Seriously, he's that cool.

I've been going to Dr. Sarin for years because he and his staff are friendly, professional, and do everything to make a visit to the dentist as painless as possible. I've had quite a bit of dental work, from root canal to wisdom tooth removal, and I recommend Dr. Sarin to everyone I know. Clean offices, consistent office staff, corny jokes, and minimal pain have kept me coming to Dr. Sarin for almost 8 years now. Great NYC dentist.

The xray machine was a breeze, there was plenty to look at on the wall you commonly stare at while be worked on, which was nice. I felt like I received special treatment overall. And no cavities!

I don't understand the glowing reviews here, because my two visits were so horrible and I never saw anyone else in the waiting room. [Name removed] the receptionist was outrageously rude, told me that the Aetna vital savings they claim to accept was a waste of money that the office had nothing to do with, and that the doctor kindly agreed to give me a reduced price because I'm a student. I was told the root canal cost would cover two visits, then while under laughing gas the doctor asked if I wanted a bonded filling for the root canal, saying he recommended it. Of course I said yes, and was hit with another bill, at which [Name removed] sneered and claimed I'd been forewarned. Then when I told her my insurance would cover a cleaning, she and another person in the office started laughing, crowding me, and exclaiming, That's impossible! The man even bet $5 I was wrong. [Name removed] refused to call Aetna till the two of them decided it might amuse them. When it turned out I was right, he disappeared, and she merely smiled meekly. Meanwhile the dentist was watching me being treated so condescendingly, and reminded me that it was a "favor" to me that he's accepting the discount program they post as accepting on Zocdoc! The atmosphere in the office is creepy; [Name removed] at one point ordered the doctor to leave me alone with her so she could set me straight, and he quickly complied; and the dentist himself had no problem with seeing me treated so badly. Also, suspiciously, he prescribed me a huge amount of addictive painkillers with a refill. This is NOT a family doctor, NOR a friendly office!!!!

The staff was very nice. The facility has a newer look and feel. Dr. Sarin offered me laughing gas for a routine cleaning. I started on the gas then realized I would rather not be getting high and going back to the office. As the cleaning continued, I very quickly understood why the gas was an option. The cleaning hurt a lot. Rather than the traditional scratching scrapping around the teeth - Dr. Sarin used two electronic instruments to get out all the plaque then clean the teeth. Although the cleaning hurt, it was far faster than any cleaning I have had prior. It only took ten maybe fifteen minutes. All and all, I was happy with the service I received and would return again.

Fantastic staff, quick, efficient – did not waste any of my valuable time. Doctor was very good, not pushy – provided me with options not obligations. But the most important thing of all – communication! It is extremely important for me to know what is going on and being performed in my mouth. The Dr provided this information in an understandable fashion and on the fly – all while performing the work. Very happy with the selection.

I made the appt last minute (with less than 12 hours in advance). Received a professional follow up confirmation call within the hour. Was greeted professionally by the staff and dentist right away. Going to the dentist is never fun but the team was courteous, professional and educational. All in all a very good experience.
