Yao Liu, D.D.S.
Dr. Liu graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with Bachelor of Science degree. She completed dental training at University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She did periodontic externship in postgraduate periodontic program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and was actively involved in community outreach service. Throughout her four years of dental school, Dr. Liu was honored with scholarship for outstanding clinical achievement and commendations for excellent academic performance. To sharpen her knowledge, she went to one year residency training after completion of dental school and received a certificate in advanced education in general dentistry. During residency, she was also an assistant instructor for indirect restoration course and gained a great experience in education.
Dentistry is constantly evolving as new technologies and techniques emerge. Dr. Liu is very active in continuing education. She attends dental meetings and seminars to acquire new techniques and enhance her knowledge in dental field. She is also an active member of the following organizations:
American Dental Association
Texas Dental Association
Dallas County Dental Society
Alpha Omega, international dental professional fraternity
Dr. Liu enjoys working with every patient and love getting to know them. She had treated patients from months old to more than ninety years old. She believes that understanding and communicating with patients is the key to deliver great dental care. To her, every one of them is unique and special.
