I don't usually take the time to write reviews, however the ZocDoc reviews were the main reason I chose this dentist so I feel the need to add my own. 1st off great customer service starts at your front door or in my case over the phone. The receptionists / medical billers at both locations (Rose & Olga) are both delightful. They were friendly, didn't rush me off the phone (as a potential 1st time patient I had numerous questions and concerns) and when they said they needed to check with the doctor and would call me back, they did. The staff was just as nice in person as over the phone. Dr. Roman does not disappoint and is just as patient and friendly as his staff. He is the 3rd doctor I had seen for this same issue, yet he was the first to thoroughly explain how my teeth would look in the final result and why. He was the only one to prescribe antibiotics for a tooth that's clearly infected. He didn't over charge my insurance for a procedure that didn't occur as the last dentist did. Most important my root canal on my front tooth was actually painless - & I am a BIG baby. The only thing I felt was the pinch of the 1st three shots - two to the gum line and one on the roof of my mouth (ouch!) but after that I was completely numb and didn't feel a thing. Dr. Roman talked to me as he was doing various steps of the procedure which is nice to keep the patients informed - I just wanted it over. I left pleasantly surprised and satisfied. I have not received my final crown yet so I can not comment on the final product but so far so good. Dr. Roman's office in White Plains (which is unfortunately the location where he is in network for my insurance) is definitely worth the trek from Queens (45 min by car / 2 hrs by bus + subway + metro north). I will be back.
