I was really impressed with Dr. Leo, and I am not easily impressed these days. This was one of the most satisfying doctor visits I've had in a long time. I arrived with at least ten different "issues" I wanted to discuss, and somehow Dr. Leo managed to address all of them, even doing an on-the-spot procedure I hadn't anticipated, without making me feel rushed or uncomfortable making so many requests. She seemed to me like she had a really good balance of being results-oriented while addressing the underlying causes of things (personally I don't feel satisfied when a doctor just writes up a bunch of prescriptions without going deeper, nor do I feel satisfied when a doctor shrugs and says "yup, that happens" without going deeper; in my experience it's been rare to find somebody who communicates well about causes AND remedies). I also appreciate that she didn't have me change into the paper robe until AFTER we'd had a lengthy conversation about my reasons for the visit-- it's amazing how many doctors have you strip down before they've even walked into the room, to save time, but totally undermine your experience/trust/comfort level as a result. As for the office, it was a really nice space, and the male receptionist was exceptionally polite and organized-- hats off to him for answering all my questions about products and logistics AND for resolving a little snafu when I'd forgotten to bring my referral. (Unfortunately the female receptionist who I spoke to the previous day on the phone didn't have quite the same customer service charms.)
