After completing his residency at NY Medical College, Dr. Khodabakhsh joined the faculty and became a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. He is board certified in ophthalmology and specializes in small incision cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgery. He currently lectures nationally and internationally on anterior segment disease and surgery. He has trained dozens of doctors in the techniques of small incision cataract surgery and glaucoma. He also has numerous publications in major ophthalmic journals including Ophthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmology, and Cornea. He is presently working on a book that deals with the complications of cataract surgery.
