Initial reaction was mixed. No real exam. Recommended antibiotic but also thought removal of toenail was probable. Not what I wanted to hear.

Wait Time

I was the last appointment of the day, so I understand that he would want to hurry up and go home and the staff to leave. I didn't have to wait that long at all, which was about the only good thing about the appointment. However, I was not the only patient he had in the office. There was another individual seen at the same time, literally the same time. He would pop back and forth between us. I felt bad for the other person because he was having some kind of procedure and Dr. Pearl would see to him, then leave and let his assistant take care of it and come back and see me. I didn't feel like he listened to me and fully understand the symptoms I was experiencing/had been experiencing. He never fully explained what I had/what I should be doing and I had to ask him if I could continue to exercise or if I should take more time off and what was wrong. I had an MRI done prior to going to see him and brought that along. He reviewed it, however, never gave it back to me even when I asked before I left. So I either have to go back there, the last thing I want to do and a huge hassle to me or pay them $10 to mail it to me. It is a CD,not something huge and it was his fault he didn't give it back to me when I asked. And to be a doctors office it was not as clean as I had expected or desired that I doctors office be. I washed my hands and there was soap scum/calcium build up along the sink. I never saw the bathrooms but I can only imagine what they would look like. If Dr. Pearl focused as much attention on his patients as he did his iPhone he might be a decent doctor. Until then, I suggest you find another orthopedic doctor in the area because there are better options that will give you the attention you deserve.
