I waited 1 hour to be seen. In the end i had to go out into the hall and find the dr to tell him I had another meeting to get to after my appointment and if we were going to start so late would I have time to make it. Dr. Tabaee was mildly apologetic about the delay, but more communication would have been nice. I'd probably keep looking for a Dr. if I needed regular ear care.

Dr. Tabaee was excellent! He thoroughly listened to my concerns and asked me multiple times if I had any additional questions. Wait time was minimal as well. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Dr. Tabaee's front desk was efficient and competent, which is always something that can drive you insane when you visit a doctor's office. However, I arrived there at 1:45 for a 2:15 appointment. I did not see the doctor until about 3:00PM. When Dr. Tabaee arrived, he did seem kind of tired, more so like he had seen 100 patients already. He did listen to my medical history and chief complaint and did make some small talk about the book I was reading. In that way I found him making an effort to have a good bedside manner, he just seemed kind of over the day already. I have very waxy ears that tend to get clogged frequently. He suctioned all the wax out with a machine I had never seen before. In the past, I had gone to my PCP who had just flushed my ears. Dr. Tabaee advised me that while that may be an effective method, it could be dangerous as well. He thoroughly checked my ears and gave me the advice that made me feel comfortable with going back to him again. I believe he knows what he is doing and does a thorough job, he's just kind of a "get to the point" kind of guy.

I liked Dr. Tabaee and I liked the technician who gave me the hearing test. However, I had to wait 1.5 hrs to see the doctor. After I booked an appointment with Zocdoc, I had to book it again with someone at Beth Israel. Nonetheless, when I got there, the reception desk told me I wasn't in the computer. I don't know if the long wait was the result of my appointment being lost or if that's just the normal waiting time. I heard the receptionist tell two other patients that their information was also missing. Apparently, there are two areas that book appointments and they don't communicate well.
