It was really enjoyed to meet her.

Dr. Chang gave me the most thorough skin exam I have ever had, which I was very pleased with given some of the dermatologists I have seen in the past. Her professionalism and kind demeanor were impressive. Between her assistant Stacy and Dr. Chang I felt in competent hands and am grateful to have found a quality dermatologist in the DC area. I had no issues with the front desk or check out either, but I came prepared with my new patient forms completed. Be sure to book your appointment well in advance or schedule your next appointment upon check out; however, I think you will find more availability if you call the office instead of solely booking via ZocDoc, especially if you need to see the doctor quickly.

Wonderful bedside manner. The reception staff was a little rough around the edges. My ZocDoc appointment was not in the system. They made it seem like it was my problem. Of course this made me a little concerned because the appointment was scheduled four months ago. Ultimately, thanks to the bad weather there were a few cancellations so I was able to be seen.

Dr. Chang spent a lot of time with me. I was surprised that she really took the time to hear all of my questions and made sure that I left with nothing unanswered.

Dr. Chang is excellent. Professional and courteous. I went for a mole check. She saw a mole she thought should come off and took it off right then without me having to come back for another appointment.

She was friendly and seemed to really think about my particular skin type before deciding on a prescription. She seemed a little rushed, but she did ask if I had questions, and I believe she would have spent more time with me if I needed it.

Dr Chang is great. I would've loved to have followed up with her today per her request, but I mistakenly thought my appointment was at 11am like it has been in previous appointments. It was actually at 10:15am. I arrived at 10:44am thinking I was early. The front desk person notified me that the office has a policy that states if you're more than 30 min late then you must reschedule. Then, even though I was only 29 min late, they still tried to make me reschedule. So clearly their policy is B.S. and I was very disappointed. I had never missed any of my previous 3 appointments in the past 8 months and have paid the office a lot of money for their services that I have appreciated up till now. Dr. Chang is excellent, but I feel like I should've been treated better this morning and not like a stranger who has never been there before. It was an honest mistake that I have never made before. At this point I am not willing to return for their services.

Love the new modernized office. Was taken right on time, Dr. Chang came in promptly and addressed all of my concerns.

She was wonderful! I felt comfortable and everything that was wrong was taken care of immediately. All of it was very easy.

Love Her! She was SO nice and professional and funny. Like talking to my girlfriend about skin issues, except she can actually fix the issue. Glad I finally found a good dermatologist in the DC area. :)

I am extremely disappointed with not only the bad service and long wait time but also with their billing department. I had to wait for more than 40' in both of my visits. Dr.Chang was rush and her prescription did not solve my very mild acne problem. In fact, I stopped taking her medicine and it got better on its own. However, I have to stress that their billing service is horrible. I got a call from them threatening to turn me in to collection service due to the lack of payments. However, my insurance already paid everything in full a month before that call. When I called back, I got a very nasty attitude, almost to the point of accusing me of lying. If you cannot do your billing right, at least work with your patients to resolve the problem, not threatening them.

GREAT professional friendly doctor!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Chang. Her office staff was helpful and as a first-time patient, the check-in process was very smooth. I didn't wait long at all to visit with a nurse or to see Dr. Chang. Dr. Chang herself was friendly and professional, and very thorough.

I usually have to wait a long time for my scheduled appointment and Dr. Chang, while very nice and professional, usually seems very harried and rushed. Also, she's booked so tightly that you cna never get in for an emergency appointment.

She was REALLY thorough with my skin. I was really impressed with her bedside manner. Even though the products are a little high, it seems that she really cares about the patient's skin issues. I look forward to going back to her for a follow-up appointment in a month!

I was nervous going in. Dr. Chang had a great bedside manner that put me quickly at ease. She is very professional, and very friendly. She addressed all of my concerns with quality attention. I highly reccommend her.

Dr. Chang made several recommendations about my skin care regime and was very reassuring. The only thing I felt nervous about was how fast paced the meeting was - I felt rushed. I'll see how her perscriptions work and hopefully be back!

She was very kind and caring as well as professional. The wait time was around 10 minutes, which is not bad at all. When she came into the room, she was smiling and shook my hand. She closely examined my skin, although I could tell that she had many patients since she seemed a little rushed, but took the time to cater to my situation. The office had a very clean, relaxing atmosphere, especially with the classical music!

I had seen several dermatologists over the years for a skin problem. None had been able to help me. Dr. Chang was interested in my information and sympathetic to my concerns. She researched my condition and suggested an experimental treatment which has been working! I couldn't be happier!

This is written by someone who has never been to a dermatologist before and this was my first visit. The visit went really well. She is very professional and friendly. Her skin is remarkable. The only thing I could see improvement on is the amount of time spent in the consultation. As a person who knows little about dermatology, it would have been nice to have learned the basics of how to take care of your skin and why. Other than that, it went well!

Dr. Chang knows her stuff. She's super professional, laid back, and gets straight to the point. Listening to her diagnose an ailment instills confidence - she just rattles off matter of factly what you're having and then prescribes to fix. The fact that she's so good, however, makes getting an appt challenging - they are booked out for months.

Dr. Chang did not make me feel that I was merely another appointment. She took the time to ask if I had additional concerns/questions beyond the reasons for my appointment.

Dr. Chang is very friendly and very straightforward. She was able to put me at ease and immediately identify my problem and give me my options in a clear and concise manner. My only complaint was that the wait in the office was pretty long. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and waited close to 30 minutes (15 in the waiting room and 15-20 in the exam room for the doctor). Still, I guess that's a sign that the doctor is popular because the practice was very busy. It's a very nice office space as well, very professional, and I liked that they had the New Yorker to keep me busy while I waited.

I love Dr. Chang! She has beautiful skin and always had ideas on how you can reach your personal goals. She's not a product pusher so her recommendations make me feel really good about her practice and myself.

Appointment was quick and painless. Dr. Chang clearly knows what she is talking about, she diagnosed my issue within seconds, and made me feel comfortable to ask all my other little skin questions, and even looked at my sunscreen for me. Time with Dr. did seem a little rushed, but I don't have any complaints.

I came to Dr. Chang for a 2nd opinion and I'm really glad I did. I first went to a fairly reputable dermatologist in Alex, VA, that left a really bad taste in my mouth. Dr. Chang was conscientious, polite, and knowledgable vs. the other doctor who couldn't be bothered to uncross his arms to do an examination. Needless to say, I'm very pleased to have met Dr. Chang and her staff.

She was pretty unbiased, but asked how much some of my conditions bothered me. Through her of assesment of my own disposition she encouraged me to take the less aggressive routes for minor skin conditions. She had a positive attitude...and even better she called my freckles "cute". I highly recommend her!

My appointment with Dr. Chang was great. She really listened to me, didn't brush aside my issue even though it's relatively minor (as other doctors have), and prescribed what appears to be a great course of action! Unfortunately, I had to wait a little longer to be seen that I would have liked... but all was forgiven as soon as I saw Dr. Chang and she was so great! I'd definitely recommend her.

You can tell that enjoys what she does. Very positive about improvements that have been made and clearly lets you know what her expectations are for progress. I would say, that she wants to see her patients rather reguarly and that can put quite a financial toll on some. But overall a great dermatologist, much better than others I have seen in the past! And the office staff is beyond friendly and accomodating!
