Real cool young dr.

I had a great experience! I was welcomed warmly when I arrived by the receptionist, saw immediately and felt heard by Dr. Foxman. He was very professional and interested in my wellbeing. I think I have found the "One"!

I went to Dr. Foxman for a long overdue physical and I have to say this was the nicest experience at a doctors office I have ever had. The office is conveniently located and has a very nice relaxing atmosphere to it. The staff were all super friendly and Dr. Foxman is very thorough and friendly as well. I am happy to have found this practice!

Dr. Foxman's office is very nice and well kept. The receptionists and nurses were warm, professional and responsive. My time with Dr. Foxman felt a bit rushed, but I am impressed with the almost all electronic nature of his practice. He took my med history on his computer and submitted Rx's electronically as well. I was in and out in about 60 minutes for annual physical. I have two complaints though. First, Dr. Foxman has instituted a $250 annual fee to be his patient. I have very good insurance and I'm in pretty good health, so I don't think I should have to pay an additional $250/year for the pleasure of seeing him. He did not disclose this fee until the end of our visit and frankly I wish he had. Now I have to look for a different internist because I can't afford an additional $250/year just to be his patient. My second complaint is that he sort of pushes his weight loss program. I am not a follower of the BMI because according to the BMI I am "obese." I am a very athletic person and exercise a lot, so I am heavier in pounds than I look. Dr. Foxman really wanted me to buy his weight loss program and didn't even consider my overall situation. It's for these two reasons that I would not recommend him to others. It's sad really, b/c he has good bedside manner and seems to care about his patients.

He's a good guy. Very straight forward. Seems passionate about his work. He is pricey, but then again it's a Beverly Hills practice, so you have to expect that.

Dr. Alex Foxman is great. Very welcoming.
