She's extremely thorough. Actually, one of the most thorough ENT's I've ever seen. Good listener and very knowledgeable and effective. She spends a good amount of time with people and is very patient. My recommendation would be to make an appointment EARLY IN THE DAY! I had a 4pm appointment and waited 45 minutes, but.... honestly was very pleased and would definitely wait to see this outstanding Doctor.

Went to Dr. Lessow based on recommendation of a friend. The office was extremely inviting and the staff were extremely nice. Dr. Lessow spent time doing a thorough check-up and explained everything to me. Would recommend this great doctor!

Dr. Lessow is really great -- very kind and attentive and takes everything that's been said into account over time. I like her problem-solving approach, and she's very good at explaining what's happening and what indicators are important. Referred me to a great allergist as a next step in my treatment and I'm very optimistic.

Have been a patient of Dr. Lessow for a good number of years for ear, throat, sinus and allergy issues. She is an excellent doctor with warm and caring nurses. From the moment you enter her office, you will feel the personalized and efficient service. Every visit is a wonderful experience.

Dr.Lessow was incredible at really listening to my concerns and thoroughly following through on a plan of action. It was a pleasure to go to the doctor which I often don't say. I left feeling relieved and sure that she would find a way to deal with my ear and sinus problems.

I went to see Dr. Lessow because I had been unhappy with other ENTs I'd seen, who seemed too eager to do surgery without really explaining the pros and cons. Dr. Lessow took lots of time explaining everything to me, drawing diagrams, answering questions, not rushing. Very friendly and approachable, and her staff is probably the most friendly of any doctor I've visited in NY!

The receptionist was organized and pleasant. The waiting room, toilet and examining room were all spotless and in excellent condition. Dr. Lessow was thoughtful, thorough and answered all my questions with patience. My experience today was extremely satisfactory.

Dr. Lessow is an absolutely wonderful doctor and human being. She is very kind, patient and low-key. She is open to new ideas and takes time to listen to her patient's concerns. I also went to several other specialists (doctors) that she recommended and each one was outstanding. In addition, her front desk staff are very professional and welcoming which is not always the case in many doctor's offices. I strongly recommend Dr. Lessow for your ENT medical care needs.

The staff was awesome. I was able to fill out my paper work before I got to the office online which saved a lot of time. I arrived 5 minutes late (1:20) because I couldn't find it but only waited about 10 minutes before I was seen even though there were no other patients in the room before me. There were two 1:30 appts who came in (which I felt bad for since it was 1:20 and I hadn't been seen yet) but I think it's common to schedule 15 minute appts. She did not rush me and was very very personable. I would highly recommend her. One of the most awesome things is that the lobby and bathroom look like an apt and her own paintings graced the walls. Very nice. She was informative, helpful and caring.

Dr. Alexa Lessow is the top of the line in all ways. Her medical knowledge and skills are of the highest. I feel totally trusting of her and her abilities. She truly cares about the patient, and takes all the time needed for treatment, and to inform the patient. She also lets the patient know ahead of time each thing she's doing, which makes me feel much more relaxed than with other Drs.

She is wonderful! The office is beautiful. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. My appointment with Dr. Lessow was by far the best ENT experience I have ever had. for a first time patient I would have to state that my experience was EXCELLENT...From the front staff down to the Dr. Lessow, it was cordial, respectful and everyone was attentive...Great to see how the culture is warm and inviting.
