Dr. Alan Detweiler specializes in family medicine in the greater New York area, and enjoys working with everyone – from children to seniors. He deeply values building personal relationships with all of his patients.

Dr. Detweiler performs specialized tests including the Ankle-Brachial Test, Arterial Doppler, Carotid Doppler, EKG, ECHO, Glucose Test, Laryngoscopy, NCV-Nerve Conduction Tests, Pulmonary Function Test, Tuberculosis Test (PPD), Tympanometry, Urinalysis, Venous Doppler, and the VNG-Balance Study. He earned his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at New York Institute of Technology, and he is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

A dedicated family man, Dr. Detweiler also loves physical activity and sports, including horseback riding and training. He’s happy to treat patients in three languages, including Italian and Spanish.
