Dr. Katz was succinct about my diagnosis and requested a follow-up on my condition. When I had a question long after my visit, he took time to call back to answer the question I had.

I was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Katz was able to see me immediately, especially since I was not a prior patient. He is a real person who actually talks with you, listens to what you have to say and proceeds from there. He assessed my clogged ear, addressed it, gave me a sample of a medicine he prescribed and I was able to get on the flight I needed to catch later in the day. I will use him again in the future.

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Alvin Katz, he was very direct and gave me what i needed to help solve my throat problem. As an actor your voice is crucial and i need my voice to be clear and strong. I can't wait for my next appointment, it's now or never!

I am a professional singer and rely on my voice more than most people. Dr. Katz has been my ENT for over 10 years now and I couldn't ask for a better person to entrust my vocal cords to. He always takes the time to go over the regimen for clearing up my sinus infections and throat maladies as well as writing everything down for me.

I have been battling sinus problems most my life - and Dr Kats not only finds out what the issue is - he explains it down to the tea as to what is going on in my sinus. He is a fantastic doctor and I would recommend him any day of the week!

Dr. Katz is everything and MORE than I expected based on the glowing reviews and personal recommendation from a friend. I have had 4 serious sinus infections in less tha 9 months and he gave me some seemingly basic though new ways in which I can help treat this in hopes of avoiding surgery, which was my next step prior to my visit with him. I just wish I found him sooner. Staff is courteous, prompt and office is comfortable, clean and modern w/a flat screen that I barely had time to watch since he was right on time.

Wow!!!, I finally found a doctor who took the time to sit with his patient and discuss the problem and possible solutions. More importantly, It's the first time i walked out of a doctors office without a prescription (this is a good thing). I highly reccommend Dr. Katz to all.

My father was so pleased with Dr. Katz, he finally met a doctor who offered solutions that were reasonable. Dr. Katz was prompt, did not hurry him from the office and listened closely to what my dad was experiencing. When he left the office he was not "cured" of his vertigo but, feels it is now managable and he can get back to living life again!

Dr. Katz is a good doctor with a great sense of humor. I didn’t have to wait at all in his office. While he maybe old school, he was honest that he doesn’t do surgery any more that I needed and referred me to 3 other surgeons that he knew were qualified. He asked me follow up questions related to my answers and concerns. The office is clean and organized.

Dr. Katz is an ENT veteran, a highly experienced MD; however he is neither "tired" nor "smug" as many medical professionals of his stature often become. Instead, he is energetic, interested, and has a good sense of humor. All to say, an excellent combination of humanityP and learnedness.

I had an emergency this past Monday, and I desperately needed to see an ENT. Through Google, I discovered ZocDoc, and through ZocDoc, I discovered Dr. Alvin Katz. I had a 12:30 appointment, but I waited about 45 minutes to be seen. As this was scheduled during my lunch hour, I wasn't very thrilled about the delay. But my experience overall more than made up for it. The office staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Paperwork and insurance is handled swiftly and without difficulty. The nurse was very caring and extremely professional. When she learned of my general squeamish-ness at being in a Doctor's office, she laughed and told me she'd be staying to watch. I can honestly say that Dr. Alvin Katz is hands-down, one of the best Doctors I have ever had. Apologizing profusely for the delay, he proceeded to spend the next 45 minutes in the treatment room with me. He did not leave my side once. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to give me an education as well, in regards to my condition. I left the office feeling much better. Indeed, we're a few days removed from my appointment, and I haven't felt this good in two weeks. As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Katz is the reason why I'm feeling better. Dr. Katz is extremely professional, incredibly compassionate, and most importantly, good at what he does. I consider myself very lucky to have found such an excellent physician here in New York City. The next time I need an ENT here in Manhattan, I know exactly who I'm going to call.

I had a 10AM appointment was taken in right away. Dr. Katz was very thorough and spent a good deal of time with me, he answered all my questions. This was my second visit to him, he solved my previous issue. I highly recommend him, he is one of the better doctors I have visited for any ailment.
