Dr. Manessis was really excellent. He took time to explain things, was genuinely desirous that I understood what was going on, and made me feel very comfortable under his care. He will be the first person I go to whenever my endocrine system needs help. I came out of the appointment disappointed - but only that he couldn't be my primary care doctor.

I didn't appreciate the wait time. The office called twice to see if I could move my appointment earlier, and when I arrived, I waited for an hour. Otherwise, Dr. Manessis is extremely friendly. Other than that, since it's only been one visit, I'm not sure how loyal I'll be to this office.

He is clearly a skilled and personable doctor who cares about his work and his patients. I left there with a smile on my face and that's more than I can say for many doctors!

This was my first visit. Dr Manessis was really friendly and very easy to talk to. He was very informative and took the time to explain everything to me. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Manessis was very personable and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable explaining my symptoms. Additionally, though the wait time was longer than expected, the front desk ladies were very friendly.

I thought this doctor was great! He is friendly and took the time to actually listen to my somewhat lengthy and complicated tale of woe. The nurse who met with me first was also extremely nice and competent. The only negative I would say is that I had made the appointment for noon so I could go on my lunch break, but the day before a woman from the office called to confirm my appt at 11:15, and then said somewhat rudely it was too bad because the dr had to be at the hospital at noon. I understand that, but it was very difficult for me to leave work at that early hour with almost no notice! (and she told me there were no other times I could have been seen that day). Otherwise excellent overall experience!

Dr. Manessis is fantastic. I believe he is very competent and extremely knowledgeable. My appointments are always informative, light hearted and to the point. The only downside is the wait time, on a few occasions I had to wait for almost an hour before I was seen, but he is worth the wait.

Dr. Manessis came highly recommended by my OB/GYN. I was so glad to see that he was very thorough about info I shared with him (he took lots of notes), and thorough with what he explained to me. He took the time to draw a huge diagram of my endocrine system to show what might be happening with mine. I really enjoyed his modest, professional and amiable manner.

I have been looking for an endocrinologist for quite some time. Dr. Manessis was very thorough and understanding. I appreciate the time he spent listening to why I was there. The office staff was also great. The only issue I had was the wait time. I was a little early and waited over an hour to see him. He did not rush me once I was in, so I wasn't bothered by it.

First time using zocdoc so wasn't sure what to expect. Wonderful experience. Receptionist was pleasant and office very professional. Nurse was funny and personable. Dr. Manessis took a detailed medical history, expressed care and concern over the reason for my visit, and wasn't rushed or hurried in any way. He has an excellent bedside manner. I was looking for a primary care physician since moving to NYC from SC, and I am very pleased with Dr. Manessis.
