Dr. Palmaccio graduated from LaSalle College and received his medical degree and completed his internship and orthopedic residency all at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Palmaccio, a native Philadelphian, has been practicing medicine for over twenty five years as a general orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience in joint replacements and arthroscopic surgery. He is an acknowledged expert on treatment for serious back and spine problems using advanced technologies, such as minimally-invasive microsurgery.
He is also the Medical Director of Delaware Valley Orthopedic and Spine Surgicenter which is a state of the art Surgicenter that is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. In his capacity as the Medical Director he oversees the entire clinical operation and sets medical policy for the facility.
Dr Palmaccio is an active member of the American College of Occupational Medicine, Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, American College of Sports Medicine, and American Running & Fitness Association. He surely understood some of the issues I had but did not patiently listen to all of it and prescribed the blood work and the medication, saying that he needs to look into it first before anything else. He seemed to be in a hurry. I was hoping to explain all the problems before hearing his opinion.
