Patient Reviews for Dr. Arthur Ugel - MD
Dr. Ugel is what I would call old school. He did a full body skin check on me which I have been getting once a year. This was my first time with him. He did it so quickly I was left feeling like this guy is that good or this guy missed something. Hopefully he's that good!
Very quick appointment, and I wish I had prepared a longer list of things for him to look at. Go in with a written-down laundry list to best make use of your time! Of the two recommendations I asked for, one was underwhelming (use Vaseline for sensitive dry skin) and one was for a laser procedure. The latter diagnosis was worth paying for -- I was definitely given new information about what I asked him to examine.
Doctor appears to know very well his field. Overall happy to have scheduled appointment with him.
Very quick. Dr. Ugel was great, and the staff was very efficient and professional. It was my first visit and after filling out a brief questionnaire, I was seen within 5 minutes. I was in the office at 8:50 and out by 9:25.
Dr. Ugel was very professional. My appointment went smoothly and I would visit his office again in the future.
Office staff were all super friendly, I was seen on time, was in and out of the office, yet the appointment wasn't rushed. Doc had great bedside manner, answered questions and was very thorough. 7am appointment! Doesn't get better than that.
I felt every aspect of my visit was fantastic.
Really great. I'm definitely going back to him if ever a need.
Very courteous, and knew what the problem was, and recommended what to do...Very happy with this doctor.
Fast and professional.
Worse doctor ever!! would never see him again! terrible bedside manner. He didnt even take a look the spot before he resumed to treat the area, no warnings about side effects. His vision doens't seem to be working well which is important for a Dermatologist.
Helpful; already seeing improvements and it's only been one day.
he was prompt and efficient. for a 10 minute appointment, we interacted for about 2 minutes. decent guy
treatment was good!!i got resolved of the problem in a week...
I found him to be a reassuring person.
Excellent, polite service at Reception Desk. One outstanding gesture I appreciated: Doctor Ugel addressed me by my latst name. The tendency and arrogance of many medical doctors today is to initially address a patient by his/her first name. This is unprofessional and ticks me off. They have no idea whether I want to be called by my first name; what titles, degrees, or profession position I hold. My only negative observation was that I would like to have known more about how/why a situation like growth of moles on the skin occur. Is it hereditary? Dietary? Etc. Ambassador Shirley E. The office is highly organized and efficient; I saw Dr. Ugel within 10 minutes of arriving. He prescribed a cream that has effectively controlled my rosacea. On top of it all, he's very nice, and the staff is great. Would definitely recommend.
