Audrey Calderwood is a dedicated and compassionate gastroenterologist treating her patients at the Boston Medical Center. Dr. Calderwood is certified by the
American Board of Internal Medicine to practice gastroenterology. She is also serving as an assistant professor at the Boston University’s School of Medicine. Dr. Calderwood is clinically interested in general gastroenterology, colon cancer screening and surveillance, and health services research.
Dr. Calderwood attended the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine to receive her medical degree. She began her internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals in 2005, and in 2006, she completed her postdoctoral studies at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Calderwood then attended the Boston Medical Center to complete her gastroenterology fellowship. Dr. Calderwood welcomes patients to visit her and receive high-quality gastroenterological attention. Many of her gastroenterology consultations are completed within 45 minutes.
