Barbara was very straight forward, thorough and concise. I went to her because I went to a few eye doctors prior that treated me like cattle and did not take the time to diagnose me properly. Barbara spent time with me and listened.
Dr. Barker listened and was very thorough with the appointment which is why I was seeing specifically her. She made sure she ruled out everything before moving forward. I would certainly see her again.

I thought her clinical evaluation was good and she was friendly and informative. Very good impression.
as always dr barker treated my mother great - she has been taking care of my mom for over 20 years -

I waited exactly two hours from my scheduled appointment to be seen. That is far too long.
Basic exam, eyes dialated, all done professionally.
Barbara was very straight forward, thorough and concise. I went to her because I went to a few eye doctors prior that treated me like cattle and did not take the time to diagnose me properly. Barbara spent time with me and listened.
Don't go here. It was a terrible visit. There are a lot of other eye doctors in the neighborhood, I'd highly recommend going somewhere else. The office itself feels like an abandoned basement. The lighting is so dim (and flickering), and the decor and the furniture make you wonder if you're going to contract something sitting there. Plus, the two offices I sat in are so cluttered, including several giant machines clumped together, like the staff's been meaning to throw them out for a while, but haven't gotten around to it. Both Dr. Barker and the person who works at the front desk have bad interpersonal skills. Barker herself is pretty unlikeable. The chair she had me sit in was off the floor, so there's a foot rest at the bottom. She told me to move my feet so she could use the foot rest, so my feet were dangling at the sides while my chin was thrust forward into that machine. She also used doctor-speak, meaning she used terms that people who don't work in eye doctor offices wouldn't know, and looked at me like I was weird when I didn't know how to answer those questions. I also filled out comprehensive forms in the beginning, but I was asked to repeat several of the answers by Barker and the woman who first assisted me - why couldn't they read the forms? If you enjoy feeling creeped out in doctors offices, made to feel uncomfortable and being condescended to, stop by. Otherwise, not worth it.
Dr. Barker listened and was very thorough with the appointment which is why I was seeing specifically her. She made sure she ruled out everything before moving forward. I would certainly see her again.

I thought Dr. Barker was good and provided helpful advice on my eye ailments. However, I waited over an hour before I was seen by anyone. The office is outdated and disorganized, which I think doesn't inspire an environment of professionalism.
Very nice and professional. I will see her again.

Dr. Barker took immediate and effective action to combat uveitis in my left eye that had been misdiagnosed as pink-eye by my internist. Multiple visits over the past few months that were timely and friendly, and most importantly, the treatment has been successful.

The office and equipment were out of the 1970's-really disorganized and messy. She is a lovely person but there was a serious lack of 21st century hygiene.
Professional, extremely friendly and kind. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Barker. She is very through and takes her time with patients. I highly recommend Dr. Barker.
