Very thorough and friendly.

Dr. Metzger is always friendly, patient and helpful. I have only good things to say. The staff is also very kind and pleasant. There was some wait time, but that's the case anywhere. It was not unreasonable.

I had my first visit with Dr Metzger today and he seems a very genuine, nice guy. He is attentive and takes his time with you.

Dr. Metzger was engaging, thoughtful and thorough. He asked all the right questions and more importantly was eager to listen to and answer any and all questions or concerns I had. This was just my first visit (annual physical) but judging only from this experience, I think I have found my regular physician.

He was super nice and pleasant, put me right at ease, took his time and answered all of my questions. His support staff were just as pleasant. I will definitely visit him again.

Reception had not verified my insurance (even though I had scheduled the appointment and provided insurance details more than 10 days before), and they did not ask about it when they called for confirmation 2 days before the appointment. I had to wait for ~1 hour for them to verify my insurance provider.

Though the wait time was longer than I would have liked, his bedside manner more than made up for it! Dr. Metzger seemed eager to get to know me and made sure to answer any and all questions I had.

An outstanding internist who took the time to listen to me and was thorough in his assessment and recommendations. Additionally, his training in nephrology and understanding of "areas" beyond his field are unique. Dr. Metzger took extra time with me after a very trying day and took into account the "whole picture" asking all the right questions to decide on a course of examination and testing (blood panel) to rule out general medical conditions.
