Dr. Alavy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of California, Los Angeles. He obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1994 at California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He successfully completed his residency at the Doctors Hospital of West Covina. He is currently the Director of The 3 year Surgical Podiatric Residency Program at Doctors Hospital of West Covina. Dr. Alavy is double board-certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rear Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Alavy is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In addition, he has assisted in nearly 1,000 orthopedic and spine surgical cases. He has been in private practice since 1996.
