He's a nice doc and was great when I did get to see him, but I saw him in an office that he's only in once a week and 1) they dont take credit cards, so I couldn't pay him and 2) they had the TV up so loud I got a headache. Blech! But, he was a nice doc, gave me samples of medicine, and I was with him for 15 minutes. (I am mailing him a check! For real! But, to his other office...)

He seems to be a knowledgeable doctor with very good bedside manners. He communicates well with the patient and takes time to explain, clarify and respond to your questions. The waiting time though can be improved (my visit started a bit over an hour from my appointment time).

Dr.Makower was amazing I had an ingrown nail and he removed it without any pain! He even gave me a follow up appointment for next week! =]

Dr. Makower answers questions in real talk, not doctor language. He does not rush you out of the office. He comes across as though he genuinely cares about his patients feet :) As long as he practices podiatry, he'll be my podiatrist.

This appointment was for my 16 yr old son. My son refuses to allow any other podiatrist to check, or work on his feet. My son suffers with painful ingrown toenails. Dr. Makower painlessly removed the problem, and my son is good to go. We will continue to seek out Dr. Makowers services. Awesome Doc!!

I had foot surgery with Dr. Mackower 5 years ago to correct hammer toes which i am very pleased with very minimal scaring that can not be detected. I have also recommended him to friends for similar issues. I recently visited the doctor with a ankle injury. He is always very through and great at explaining all procedures and treatments.
