Dr.Carolyn Morales was raised in Puerto Rico and is fully bilingual, English/Spanish. She is a graducate of Goucher College and majored in Chemistry. After medical school, she completed her residency program at Georgetown University Medical Center and joined OB\GYN Associates in July 2000.
Dr. Morales presently serves as Vice-President and Secretary of OB/GYN Associates and has been a memeber of the Holy Cross Hospital Perinatal Peer Review committee since 2000. She is fully Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has recieved American's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists award from the Consumers'Research Council of America.
At present, she has privileges at Holy Cross Hospital, Montgomery General Hospital, and Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.(Pending) She sees patients at both the Silver Spring and Rockville offices. Dr. Morales performs obstetrical as well as gynecological services, including minimally invasive surgery, such as laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, sterilization, endometrial ablation and myomectomy, in addition to routine abdominal surgery.
Her philosophy concerning patient care is one of caring, listening, understandinga and commitment to giving the highest quality of care. She is married to a hematologist/oncologist and has two lovely children.
