Dr. Daniel Alpert is a board certified gastroenterologist who has been in private practice since 1994. He is an Attending Physician and Clinical Instructor of Medicine at New York University Medical Center. His internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship were also completed at New York University Medical Center. He is the recipient of the 2008 and 2009 Patients'Choice Award. His office based surgical center is accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission.

My only issue with this appointment was that according to dr. Alpert's staff, I was not scheduled for today. They mentioned they've been having issues with Zocdoc appointments, but were able to pencil me in for the time I allegedly scheduled
Excellent Doctor, Explains everything in detail and offers treatment options. Staff could use some work, Had my appointment time wrong until I showed them the email confirmation they did not believe me and happened to another patient while I was in the waiting room, they had his appointment wrong as well. Common Problem here, once your're with the Doc however ; its all smooth sailing.
The staff were a little short with patients. However, Dr Alpert made up for this, because he was very attentive and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable in his diagnosis and confident that my health was being taken care of.
