Dr. Gottschall received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Connecticut in Farmington. Dr. Gottschall is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been on staff at St. Vincent’s for over 14 years and is the Vice Chairperson for OB/GYN and the Medical Director of the Seton Center for Women’s Health and he is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Saint Vincent's Medical Center. He has served on the Medical Executive Committee, Peer Review Committee, Capital Campaign Steering Committee, Medical Division, and is now the Chairperson of the St. Vincent’s Health Services Planning Committee of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Gottschall is also a Board member of Women’s Health Connecticut and a member of their Professional Liability Committee, and is on the Board of the Surgery Center of Fairfield County.
