He has held leadership positions with many organizations in New York including being the Medical Director of the Birthing Center at Long Island College Hospital and the Former Chair of the New York Chapter for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He's very knowledgable, professional, and we had great personal rapport. I like him very much, and feel that if nothing else, I'm in very thorough hands with him.
Dr. Friedman is very dry and to the point, I know this about him and it doesn't really bother me. Usually his nurse is friendly and chatty, which she was again this time. However, she asked me if I had a co-pay and then asked ME what it was. And when I wasn't sure, she kind of scoffed at the fact that she had to double check. Then when I handed her my credit card for payment, she said that they preferred cash or check. It's NYC and 2013, most people pay with credit cards. Again, when I told her I didn't have either on me, she seemed annoyed that she had to run my card. I think she's a nice woman, but perhaps should work on her professionalism a bit more.

I will not be seeing Dr. Friedman again. I find him to be rude and dismissive. The office is also pretty messy, if not dirty.

Dr. Friedman is an excellent doctor. I saw him today because I needed a new gynecologist in Manhattan. He saw me at precisely 5pm (my appointment time) and his staff was incredibly friendly. He asks friendly questions and makes you feel comfortable, and he gets a thorough medical history. I was only there for the appointment because I needed a new doctor and a refill on my birth control pills-- Dr. Friedman still covered everything and I ended up getting some more tests done based on my medical history. Highly recommended.

I just wanted to say that the wait time that I experienced at the office was not normal apparently there was an issue with the trains and so several assistants showed up late. Dr. Freidman apologized profusely..I'm normally seen very quickly,usually in under 30minutes. Ive been going to Dr Freidman for 3 years now and I would higly recommend him.

Dr. Friedman is absolutely amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for his patients. He was able to identify an extremely important issue in my health that other doctors had overlooked or never took time to tell me about. He is a life saver! Besides being extremely smart and helpful, Dr. Friedman is also very kind and humble. He truly cares about his patients and gives each one his time and attention. He is vigilant in his practice and keeps up to date with all the new aspects of medicine and healthcare. Phenomenal Doc!

Wait time wasn't too long, staff got the paper work done quickly as well. Dr. Friedman was pretty friendly and was able to make the a less than comfortable situation as pleasant as possible.

Was a pretty comfortable environment and staff, but when it came to following up, I've never had a worse experience. They called me at a time I was in the middle of work, and when I would return the call, I never got through. I had called at least 12 times before I gave up and found another doctor for ANOTHER pap ughhhh!!!!
Going to the gynocologist isn't the most pleasant experience, but Dr. Friedman was absolutely wonderful. While I had to wait a while to be seen, he made up for it. Very professional and extremely friendly. I have already recommended him to friends in the city looking for a good OBGYN.

I highly recommend Dr. Friedman. I have moved and I still return to NYC to see him. He makes you feel completely comfortable. When you are nervous about anything, he makes you feel calm and that everything will be fine. I highly recommend him to any 20-something or 30-something woman like me!
I had to wait 25 minutes to see the doctor even though I arrived 15 minutes early in order to have all of the paperwork filled out by the appointment time. The pelvic exam was very quick (less than 5 minutes). Perhaps if I were having medical problems Dr. Friedman would do a more thorough exam... it was the fastest routine pap I have ever had (in 10 years of going to the gyno).
Dr. Friedman was very good & caring he went above & beyond his means to make shure every thing is ok I think he's great cant wait to see him again.
My visit could best be described as being uncomfortable. I Will be looking for a new OB/GYN after this because I don't feel like I trust him. He was nice enough, but I still got a weird vibe from him.

Dr. Friedman was one of the most unprofessional doctors that I've ever seen. He was dismissive to my questions, culturally insensitive, and rude to his office/nursing staff. In addition, the doctor's office was messy, if not downright dirty. I won't be returning.

I have been to Dr. Friedman for the past two years and hands down he is the best GYN that exists. He KNOWS his field and cares about the overall health of the person, patient and intelligent. I highly suggest him to everyone and anyone.
