Dr. Salvage offers a broad range of approaches to helping clients improve the quality of their lives. His services range from humanistic analysis, to pragmatic psychotherapies, brief dynamic psychotherapy, psychodynamically informed life coaching, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Ericksonian hypnosis.
Dr. Salvage also offers psychopharmacologic intervention for a variety of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, attention and impulse related disorders. He combines humanism and warmth with careful clinical acumen, and a determination to have each patient achieve a complete recovery. He seeks to have each patient understand not only the nature of their illness, but also the benefits and potential complications of a wide array of psychopharmacologic options which are available. In this capacity, he often works with therapists from other disciplines as part of a team approach to integrated care.
Dr. Salvage has been treating individuals for addictive behavior for over 15 years. He became board certified by the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry in 1997. In addition he has added credentialing in being certified by SAMSHA as a provider of suboxone for the treatment of opiate addiction. Dr. Salvage offers his patients a wide range of both pharmacologic and psychological tools with which to combat addictive behavior.
