He was very competent, but I would have appreciated him explaining/prefacing his physical exam procedures to me before he actually did anything during the visit. That way I could have been more involved and aware as opposed to feeling like an object being examined. But, he knew I'm an RN, so maybe he assumed I knew what was going to happen (which I did).
