Dr. Dean Spellman is an independent contractor of Family Footcare Group, PC. He has been a contributing partner to one of the largest, most successful ambulatory foot care facilities in the United States, overseeing a team of surgeons certified in arthroscopy and ambulatory foot surgery.

Dr. Spellman is on staff at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, Westchester Square/New York Hospital, and at Surgicare Center in the Bronx. He also performs procedures on a weekly basis at the practice’s main surgical facility in the Upper East Side, which also has a full anesthesiology team and 10 podiatric surgical assistants. Dr. Spellman was great, there was no wait, and he was very nice. The office was kind of sketchy feeling. They're cash-only and the whole place doesn't exactly feel like a doctor's office. On the other hand, he was very nice and fast.

I wouldn't recommend him. The office is messy and seems dirty. Also seems sketchy that they only take cash or checks...what doctor doesn't take credit cards!?

Been to his office a few times and he's a very nice person, the girls that work there are also very nice and pleasant. I never had to wait no more than 5 mins to see the doctor.
