He then went on to complete residency training at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, followed by fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Beth Israel Medical Center, where he is the Associate Chairman for the Department of Cardiology, Director of Ambulatory Cardiology and Program Director for the Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship. He has won numerous teaching awards and accolades.
