It's possible to find an amazing doctor in this city! Dr. Cozien is not only in touch with matters of the brain, but he has has all the qualities I rarely find in doctors: patience, empathy, perspective. He has the ability to see the patient as the whole body (and mind and spirit) which can't be separated from its parts; the whole condition which cannot be isolated from the patient. Dr. Cozien was extremely thorough and didn't make me feel rushed at ALL, even though I had an evening appointment. I am so relieved after meeting him because he suggested diagnostic tests and potential issues no neurologist (or other doctor, for that matter) has ever discussed with me before. I am confident that Dr. Cozien will help me treat my problems, not just my symptoms. I am so grateful to the friend who recommended him, so I wanted to "pay it forward." (Full disclosure: I have some chronic, inter-related conditions, which have persisted for years, so to someone with a straightforward medical history and the best health care throughout their lives and unbelievable luck, my reviews may sound a little...dramatic.)

I was very pleased with my initial visit. He was thorough and really listened. He was personable while maintaining a professional demeanor. I liked that he came out to the waiting area and shook my husbdand's hand- it was a very respectful thing to do. He also apologized profusely to both of us for starting my appointment a little late.

Dr Cozien is a very likable, smart and sensitive doctor. His neurological exam was comprehensive. He spent a long time listening to me and explaining his conclusions and thoughts. I felt very comfortable with him and therefore, felt reassured and trusting of his future care. He was recommended highly by my family physician after my stroke.

Dr. Cozien is very thorough and kind. Bring a book or work to do and the wait's not so bad.

His interview and exam were thorough, and he explained what he was doing as he did it, sharing his thinking and knowledge in a way that was not only helpful to my circumstances but informative in general. He is as much concerned with prevention as with cures, something that is important to me. He listened carefully to my concerns and was very patient, not just in addressing these concerns but also in discussing the current medical science regarding my issues. I feel that I am in excellent hands and highly recommend this physician.

Dr. Cozien was open, honest, patient and an excellent listener/communicator. It is unquestionably evident that he is in the medical profession for the right reason-- to care for people.

He was fantastic. I had to wait a long time but he was worth it. They should have told me on the phone I could not use a credit or debit card but still he was so good it was worth the inconvenience.
