Dr. Don Burgio MD, FACS

Very, very nice doctor. Was very welcoming, was not rigid like most doctors. Answered my questions and provided options for resolution. Made me feel comfortable and even laughed a couple times. Would definitely return and recommend!

Straight forward and succinct. He asked the right questions and listened to the answers.

Very professional and explained my options well. I'm comfortable with his plan to determine the best course moving forward.

Dr. Burgio seemed knowledgable, but the wait time was far too long. I didn't see him for 40 minutes after my appointment time. This ranking is 3 starts on Zocdoc's scale, but in my opinion it should be a 1. If I was 40 minutes late to meetings at my job regularly I would be fired. My time is valuable and I left work to come to this appointment. There seems to be a scheduling issue.

The blond receptionist was loud and rude. she bearaded me for being late and insisted 3 times that my appt was at a time 15 min prior to my zoc doc appt, and that I arrived 10 min late..I told her each that time that my appt was at the appointed ZOC DOC time and she kept saying loudly that I was late. I would have had a verbal confirmation if the office had answered one of the two messages I left to confirm before driving over earlier that morning for an afternoon appt.I pulled up the ZOC DOC site on my cell phone and showed her that it said "your appt is at...( showing that I wasnt lying) she didnt even apologize, and then referred to it as "the ZOC DOC Drama".. as if my waiting to see the Dr. for an hour was my fault. I really wanted to run out of there..Dr, never apologized for the wait either. Not very friendly.If I had a choice I would go somewhere else.

My 6 month old baby has had chronic ear infections since Jan. and was referred to a different Dr. but I saw that his reviews were all low so I decided to look on this website and saw that Dr. Burgio had great reviews. I took my baby to his appointment today and it was wonderful, Dr. Burgio took the time to listen and informed me of the options I had. He is going to be putting tubes in my 6 month old baby and I am glad that I chose to have him do the procedure. It is hard enough trusting anybody with your baby, let alone putting them under surgery, even if it is for a short per. of time. I'm glad that I found a Dr. that I can trust.

Very professional and pleasant. All staff including Dr. Burgio were very nice and efficient. Cleaned my ears and had my hearing checked. Was very satisfied.

He was very considerate and thorough, and I was so grateful that I decided to ignore prior negative reports I had read about him. Both he and his office staff were very personable and while my diagnosis was a serious one, he explained the reasons for his recommended testings and treatment options very well.

Seems to be getting to the root of my issue, but not kind, compassionate or friendly. A bit abrasive.

Offered alternatives to my concerns. Convenient and informative.
