I was very impressed. My appointment was for 2:15pm and I was in the exam room for preliminaries by 2:17! Then when I saw the Doc, he paid attention and made me feel at ease. His manner was quite reassuring!!

Dr. Friedrich is extremely nice and has wonderful bedside manner. Even though you have to wait a while sometimes, He makes sure to spend quality time with you during your exam and answering any questions. Would recommend him to anyone.

Superb. I needed further consultation on a corneal problem for which Dr. Friedrich needed to refer me to a corneal specialist. He personally made the phone calls to corneal specialists while I was in his office until he procured a specialist that fit my needs. Most doctors would have had their office assistants make the calls.

Professional service; clean office; friendly staff; and I felt at ease. Highly recommended.

Finding a doctor who accepted our insurance and making an appointment was extremely easy on this site and then Dr. Friedrich was great. The whole experience was excellent.

The receptionist was out, but this is a big office so some of the other doctors' receptionists helped me out. Dr. Friedrich was quick and efficient, and although he didn't explain things very well, he gave me all the information I needed to know about taking my medicine correctly and how to find out more about my illness. I don't think I really need anything else! But if you want someone who will hold your hand more, he might not be the best choice for you.

No explanation of my condition from the doctor. Cold and uninterested. Sent me to his assistant for unnecessary exam so he could make some money too. Would not recommend Douglas Friedrich to anyone.

I was happy with the doctor . He was able to tell me right away about my problems. I am diss -appointed with the waiting time. I came on time but I had to wait for the receiptionist to come back from lunch. I don't understand why her lunch time was at the same time when the patient should come to see the doctor. It was my lunch time, And most of the time I waited for the receptionist. as a result I was late from my lunch brake

He had good manners but was very hurried. He only saw me between 2-5 minutes and explained the minimum, even i asked him more (I'm a doctor so I know what's the minimum).

It was okay. I took my ten yr.old daughter for a visit. It kinda sucked after he seen her, he told me he doesn't see kids after all that waiting in his office. He did refer me to kids eye doctor. I probably would go see him for myself, but the wait time was kinda long.

He was great! So nice!

I thought Dr. Friedrich was fine and will likely return. The receptionist I dealt with was another story. It was like trying to get help from an angsty teenager. Shockingly unprofessional.

All my questions and concerns were addressed, and the staff was kind enough to squeeze me in at the last minute. I didn't feel as if I were on an assembly line, busy as the office was. Glad to have an opthamologist now!

Great doctor. Office staff was polite and courteous. Very little wait. For a complete exam he may recommend you get your eyes dilated. But at least he discussed this with me first. Very caring doctor and I can see great with my new glasses.

There was hardly a wait. The office was absolutely beautiful and his staff was kind and courteous. The doctor actually listened to all my questions and took all the time in the world to explain everything to me. He is a wonderful who actually talks to you and not at you. Great experience!

Great staff. Beautiful office. I had a contact lens ulcer and he immediately relieved all my anxiety by explaining everything to me. He put together a treatment plan and I feel that I am in good hands. He is truly a wonderful doctor that knows his stuff. Beautiful office in the middle of Midtown too.

He was fine, but I thought it was really ridiculous that I, along with with several other patients, had to wait more than an hour. I waited an hour and 30 minutes before I was even seen. That's unacceptable. Time is money. People have jobs, and there are too many doctors in this City for me to go to one who does not respect my time.
