Patient Reviews for Dr. Edward Kwak - MD
Sat down and spent time with me, explained everything thoroughly. Was very respectful and receptive with my input, which was a pleasant change from the norm.
Dr. Kwak was extremely professional and intelligent. He spent a lot of time explaining the details of my condition/why he was prescribing medication and answering my questions. I would definitely go back to him and recommend him to others. His bedside manner is more serious than jovial but if I had to pick one for a Dr., I'd much rather have serious!
He was very professional and knew the exact questions to ask. Patient as well in deciphering my newbie responses. The office is well maintained, friendly staff, and overall my most favorite Doctor's office visit in NYC since I've moved up here. Will be calling him back in two weeks if symptoms persist, however he seemed pretty confident I'll be rocking out full strength in no time. Thanks for the recommendation zocdoc.
Very professional, and knowledgeable. Took his time with me.
Dr. Kwak was very professional and kind. He answered questions I didn't even know to ask, and was very clear with his instructions. Would definitely recommend.
Very patient, answered all my questions without any rush. Would definitely recommend him.
Very personable and extremely thorough. He had insight to my recurring ear condition that I had not yet heard from numerous other doctors. Thank you!
Doctor Kwak did an excellent job of explaining my issue and the options available to me. He answered all questions and I didn't feel rushed. One thing to note is that he shares an office on the first floor without a clearly marked sign with his name. Don't be discouraged on your first visit, he's certainly there and worth visiting!
Awesome, very informative and straight to the point.
Staff was extra curteous. Very comfortable, modern office. A huge plus for me was the short wait time. I've been to offices where the wait time was hours, literally. At this office I waited approx. 5 minutes before I was taken to the exam room and the doctor came in shortly after that. He has great bedside manner. He made me feel relaxed and at ease and explained everything in a matter I understood.
Dr. Kwak has a quiet and patient manner. He seems to really listen as you describe and concerns and symptoms and is willing to explain medical issues in plain terms.
Dr. Kwak was very thorough. But unfortunately I was unable to continue my process with him because he was out-of-network and will cost me a pretty penny to do my surgery.
he is very informative and thorough.
The doctor explained in detail the nature of my problem
competent, professional, articulate.
Very positive visit. Dr. Kwak was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.
Great bedside manner, very intelligent. I liked how he pulled up images on Google right in the patient room to show me the things he was talking about.
Excellent explanations. Takes the time to examine and talk.
He was very attentive and gentle. He explained everything he was doing, and what to expect. He also explained why I was feeling the symptoms I had. Also, I had no wait time at all.
did a great job of cleaning out my ears
Was attentive, thorough and asked a many questions, which I appreciated.
Beautiful office. Staff is very friendly and helpful--they apologized profusely for the wait, even though by the time I was done filling out the new patient form they were ready for me. The only weird thing is that the office only says plastic surgery, so I wasn't sure I was in the right place at first. That being said, Dr. Kwak is a great ENT doc--fixed my ear cloggage problem very quickly and gave me what seemed to be very sound professional advice.
I've been to a number of ENTs in my lifetime and I found his equipment to be less high-tech than other doctors I've visited. I didn't feel like I got a clear diagnosis or personalized treatment options during my visit.
nice peson,
