Dr. Elena Frid MD

Elena Frid is a great doctor. She really listens to what's going on, is warm, and has a way of putting me at ease when I am very stressed out about my symptoms. I can't recommend her enough. Some of my doctors are a bit robotic and not very nice so Dr.Frid is a breath of fresh air.

Dr. Frid was amazing. Listened to all my concerns and there wasn't a moment when I felt rushed. Very informative and caring. The location is close to the subway which makes it convenient. The office was very organized, well lit, and clean. Also, the staff there were all incredibly friendly which I find is rare these days. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend her.

I feel really good about my visit here. She was very thourough, her staff was very friendly and helpful, and I really didn't have to wait at all to see her. I saw her pretty much as soon as I got there. Overall I recommend her for sure.

Dr. Frid is incredibly attentive and thorough. I have seen many doctors in my life because choosing one before the days of online reviews felt like roulette. The office is equipped to do some tests on-site, which helps speed up the whole process. The entire staff seems very friendly, and, most importantly, Dr. Frid seems determined to get to the root of the problem, explaining her methods and line of thinking - in a way that a lay-person like me can understand. She was very thorough during my visit. She asked a lot of questions and explained everything to me very clearly since I had a lot of questions too. Going for a follow up in 2 weeks which is nice since many Drs in nyc take weeks to get an appointment. They also got me in for a same day MRI which seems close to impossible normally!

Fantastic physician with personality to match. RNs are not the easiest people for some physicians to treat ...full of questions & a certain degree of medical knowledge. Dr Frid allayed my fears & allowed me to relax into the role of being a patient. She is an excellent diagnostician as well.

Although Dr. Frid specialises in Neurology (and is double-boarded in psychiatry), in the relatively short time I have been her pt., I have come to trust her as being at the top of those physicians whom I know, represent, or have had professional relationships with.

Very pleasant, down-to-earth, and honest doctor. She took every step to give me the most accurate and thorough attention, including several referrals and follow-up visits just to make sure we weren't overlooking anything potentially important. She is very sweet and calming in sometimes not so comfortable situations. However, the wait was a bit long after my scheduled appointments, (at least the 2 times I went in).

I have never been to a neurologist before so I didn't know what to expect. From using ZocDoc, to the office staff calling for a reminder and Dr. Frid explaining everything to me - before, during and after the exam. I Highly recommend Dr. Frid and would recommend her to anyone of my family and friends.
