Patient Reviews for Eric Schweiger, MD
I didn't feel like Dr. Schweiger was really listening to me and really trying to help fix my problem. I have been to several dermatologist and I keep running into the same problem, I travelled to Manhattan from Queens hoping I could get better care. I was extremely dissapointed.
Very nice office and staff.
I waited half an hour past my appointment to be seen despite being 20 mins early and was seen for only 2 mins, very rushed and did not seem interested to be there. Would not recommend.
I was very impressed by Dr Eric's professionalism. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Schweiger comes across as intelligent, kind, and a good listener. I was pleased with his explanation and diagnosis and I would see him again. I was, however, disappointed with the wait time. I expected to see the doctor at 12:15pm; instead, I was only called in around 1pm.
Very cordial and reassuring
Dr Schweiger was very nice and helpful and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend him.
I felt like he really cared about my issue. He was really nice and answered all of my questions, didn't rush through the visit. The nursing staff and the staff in reception are also really nice, which is a huge change from other doctors' offices I've been to around the city.
He seems very nice and knowledgeable. His nurse took down all my information/history. I later saw his PA and I think she was nice.
I had an appointment for 10 am with Dr. Schweiger, but so did the other 5 people in the waiting room. 6 appointments at the same time for the same doctor? Not very strategically planned.
Very professional, great attitude and got me in and out quickly.
Office was professional and everyone very friendly. I wrote "probably" recommend, because I will more to base an opinion on after my next follow-up appt. So far, so good though!
he tried to sell me on many expensive treatments
The doctor and his assistant were great: thorough, polite and professional; however the front desk staff left a little to be desired--couldn't find my file, had to fill out complete set of paperwork again. It took almost an hour to see the doctor because they were so disorganized.
I think the wait was a bit long. Doctor had pleasant personality but I thought the consult was a bit rushed.
The doctor is nice. The nurse Jill is very helpful and nice to talk to. Both doctor and the nurse takes time to explain patiently and discuss with me about my condition
Too much waiting...reception somewhat disorganized and not helpful...felt like I was moving through a conveyor belt operation, probably won't go back.
great staff, professional, great waiting room. the dr saw me within 10 minutes, was professional, friendly and overall great
Very sympathetic doctor, front desk gentleman was very good as well this time.
I had to wait long, but everything else was very nice.
He was very friendly and open. The office looks very nice, almost chic, but was very crowded when I got there. There was a long line and the desk staff was not friendly.
He was very professional. Interact very well with the patient.
The wait time was a lengthy, almost 45 minutes. When the doctor finally saw me, he was quick to write prescriptions and just added on more as I described more symptoms. I didn't feel as though he really knew what my rash was and didn't quite take the time to ask many questions. Instead, I was the one explaining and asking questions so the visit felt inconclusive... I was told to fill try all the prescriptions and come back in 3-4 weeks for a follow-up. I suppose that's how things work there?
I really liked Dr. Schweiger, he was kind and very good at explaining different things and writing down the names of conditions and treatments. If there was a reason I wouldn't go back though, it was the staff. I found both the front desk and the nurse I saw to be incredibly rude and stiff. The receptionist needs to pretend she cares about her job, or find a new one. I also don't think that if you are going to see a doctor, you should have to limit the number of topics that you are going to talk to them about (to 3, according to the nurse that saw me before the doctor.) It not only seems ridiculous, but unethical, to be told a doctor can only advise on 3 topics. Particularly when one of them is a sun spot on my lip which he would like to monitor to make sure its not melanoma. All in all--definitely go see Dr. Schweiger, but maybe try out his other office location which is what I plan to do next time. The staff at this place were irritating and negligent in my opinion.
Very professional and courteous, would highly recommend
Very comfortable, up-to-date facility, unlike many in the city. Staff was very quick and kind. Doctor was very quick, informative, and attentive to my health issues. You can always tell a good dermatologist when they have good, clean skin. lol. I would suggest this doctor to anyone.
very helpful and pleasant support staff
I was pleased with Dr. Schweiger, but was highly frustrated at having to wait 45 minutes for my appointment. I later found out that people who had appointments after I did went before me!
Professional, competent, reasonable, friendly.
great easy way to make an appt.
Nice office, short wait, and very knowledgeable and professional doctor. Highly recommended!
Very friendly staff and a kind, smart, funny doctor. Excellent.
I had excellent service, but the wait was rather disappointing. Look forward to my check-up.
Great doctor, the wait was a little long, but its Manhattan there is always a wait
The environment of the clinic is very good and so is the service by the staff.
Great. Short and Sweet. Exactly what I was looking for....
Very nice guy. Reception is quick and friendly.
I had to wait over half an hour (at a morning appointment) to see the doctor, who gave me an annual skin screening in under five minutes and sent me out the door. He was personable, however.
ASside from the 30-45 min wait, I found the experience very pleasant nd informative. I will have to wait and see if the medicine that he gave me works.
