Really didn't provide any other alternatives besides surgery, though I know there are other alternatives to surgery. Also wasn't as empathetic seeing that surgery would definitely displace me from work for an extended period of time when I am on my feet all day. I would've liked to see him be concerned with my overall situation and how surgery would impact my home life in addition to my health.

I thought he was very knowledgable and very informative.

Dr.Gabriel Maislos was friendly,warm,took his time with me.My visit was not dissapointing.His staff was very on time as well.

I arrived about 35 minutes early, and was seen in about 20 minutes. Dr. Maislos' staff was friendly and considerate; his assistant was quite capable, especially with the X-rays! Dr. Maislos took time to show me my X-rays and to explain the options and next steps. I felt very comfortable. I am returning in two weeks for a follow up.

Dr. Maislos is so easy to talk with. I feel very confident with him as my doctor.

Dr. Maislos diagnosed my foot problem right away and suggested treatment options. I had some questions but since he went on to the next patient, I called his office the next day and his staff was very helpful and answered my questions and concerns.

The wait was a little over an hour for a 5 minute consult. He gave several unsubstantiated guesses for the cause of my problems. Also, his nurse didn't take my blood pressure, which was okay, but later I noticed she had typed in 120/75. This doctor couldn't possibly have been rated one of Houston's top Podiatrist last year...NO WAY!
