Dr. Gary Brecher received his pediatric training at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Francisco, California. This was followed by a fellowship in Child Psychiatry and Development at Boston Children's Hospital. Then, he moved to this area and has maintained a pediatric office here since 1966. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and maintains yearly eligibility for the American Medical Association's Physicians Recognition Award. He serves on the staff of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Dr. Brecher's special interest and expertise lies in the management of asthma in infants and children. He is married and has five children and many grandchildren. Dr. Brecher lives in Potomac, Maryland and plays golf as often as possible.
